Google（Google）喺8月5日宣佈旗下人工智能（AI）[管理層出現重大人事變動](https://blog.google/company-news/inside-google/message-ceo/next-chapter-ai-momentum/)。多名核心人物嘅職位都有所調動，當中最受觸目嘅係 Google DeepMind 負責人 Demis Hassabis 嘅職務轉換，以及資深元老級員工離職創業嘅安排。呢次快訊重點整理各項改組細節，顯示 Google 正進一步整合及優化內部人工智能資源。

## Demis Hassabis 轉任主席 專注 AI 醫療應用

行政總裁 Sundar Pichai 公佈，Demis Hassabis 將會出任 Google DeepMind 嘅主席，同時兼任母公司 Alphabet 嘅首席科學家。未來，佢會繼續帶領 Alphabet 旗下嘅 Isomorphic Labs，呢個部門嘅主要目標係利用人工智能技術研發新藥物。

## DeepMind 內部高層晉升

隨住管理層重組，原本擔任 DeepMind 首席技術官嘅 Koray Kavukcuoglu 將會晉升為 Google DeepMind 嘅高級副總裁，直接向 Sundar Pichai 匯報。同時，Koray Kavukcuoglu 亦會保留 Google 首席人工智能架構師嘅職位，繼續帶領團隊進行技術研發。

## 資深元老離職 創立 AI 公益企業

除咗內部晉升，另一項重要變動涉及 Google 嘅資深員工。作為 Google 第 30 位員工兼 Google DeepMind 首席科學家嘅 Jeff Dean ，將會聯同 Google 院士 Sanjay Ghemawat 離職。佢哋將會共同創立一間名為 Discovery Loop 嘅人工智能公益企業。Sundar Pichai 指出，Google 將會成為呢間新公司嘅創始投資者。
