Epic Games 強烈反對及後續發展
雖然歐盟委員會對新方案開綠燈，但並非所有開發商都接受。著名遊戲開發商 Epic Games 對此表示強烈反對。佢哋認為，《數碼市場法案》明確規定，蘋果公司必須允許開發者「免費」提供前往外部網站嘅購買連結。Epic Games 堅持，任何針對 App Store 以外交易所收取嘅費用（即高於 0% 嘅抽成），都係刻意違反歐盟法規。
